okay the wooden wick crackle got me

wasn't expecting to feel emotional about a candle but here we are 😅 the amber one is warm and a bit resinous, fills the whole living room without giving me a headache like the cheap ones do. but the BEST bit is the wooden wick — it actually crackles like a tiny fireplace. lit it every night this week. the little ceramic dish under it catches any drips too which is clever. already eyeing the sandalwood.

the pot literally became a plant. i'm obsessed.

Was 100% sceptical that the 'grows into a plant' thing wasn't just marketing. It is not marketing. Once the candle burned down I cleaned the wax out (warm water + the bit of soy left wipes right off), used the seed paper they tuck in the box, and three weeks later — actual seedlings on my windowsill. It sits on its little matching saucer like a proper planter. A candle that turns into a plant. My flatmates think I'm a wizard.

Lovely scent, wish the medium lasted longer

Sandalwood is my go-to and Lumond's is genuinely great — creamy, a little smoky, very calming before bed. The terracotta colour looks lovely on my nightstand too. Only reason it's 4 stars: I burn it most evenings and the medium doesn't last as long as I'd like, so I'd buy the large next time. Clean soy burn though, zero soot on the ceramic.

the lilac one is even prettier irl

Soft, fresh, just floral enough — I keep it on the bathroom vanity and light it when I run a bath. The lilac ceramic is gorgeous, photos honestly don't do it justice. Got compliments from literally everyone who's used my bathroom since. And no plastic anywhere in the packaging, which I really appreciate.

freshest candle I own, cuts through cooking smells

Zingy, green, uplifting — I keep the forest green one on the kitchen counter and light it after cooking. Works SO much better than those plug-in things. Slow even soy burn and the wooden wick is a nice touch. The green glaze with the little leather tag looks like something from a design shop. Repeat customer now.

lives on my desk, keeps the wfh days fresh

Herbal and a little salty-fresh, not sweet at all which is exactly what I wanted for working. Even unlit it gives off a gentle scent. The sage pot looks so good next to my monitor that two colleagues asked about it on a call lol. Sits on its saucer, no mess. Genuinely makes my desk nicer to be at.

See the candles in action

Short clips of the wooden wick, the ceramic and the light.

“A candle that becomes a plant. The pot, the seed paper, the clean soy burn — it's the rare sustainable product that actually lives up to the pitch.”
